Condition
Reports
Condition Reports (CR) are an invaluable tool used by private collections,
museums, insurance companies, conservators and fine art professionals to
accurately describe and document the condition of
works. CRs are necessary for the maintenance of any collection – liability,
provenance, conservation, valuation. Our CRs are customizable from basic to
museum - tailored to meet the needs of any collection.

Management
For clients with valuable collections, we strongly advise having a good
Collections Management
(CM) system that is up to date and accurate. Artemis can design a CM
system for any sized collection, or assist in updating and maintaining existing
collections management systems.
CM systems maintain information vital for any collection - showing precise
identification, exact current locations, image database, movement history,
provenance, current and historic conditions, key measurements, conservation
treatments and history, etc. This information is invaluable if works are to be
sold, consigned, stored, loaned, conserved or require claims - and in many
cases may assist galleries, auction houses, appraisers and insurance companies
in actually improving the valuation.
Artemis Registrars Department uses state of the art software analogous with
leading museums for
Collections Management, Condition Reports and Storage Inventory.
